Janet A. Konyn, PSC Certified Pilates Instructor

Janet is the owner of Bird Nest Pilates. She became a believer in the transformation Pilates creates by practicing The Method which Joseph Pilates taught. She has over 13 years experience working with a wide range of clients, from those with injuries to those with good health, with youth and into the older years.  Janet is passionate about sharing Pilates and coaches her clients to a deeper awareness of movement which they can can apply to their everyday lives. By moving beyond functional training and towards integration, clients are able to find awareness of the whole body. She completed her Pilates Teacher Training with PSC through Body Be Well in Red Hook, NY in 2012. She has a strong drive to continue learning and continued her education by training with Core Bodies and also with Shari Berkowitz of The Vertical Workshop
