How to begin Pilates?
Each semi-private Mixed Apparatus Pilates session at the studio is a scheduled session with a small group of 3-5 participants where you will always use the spring driven equipment. We book your semi-private the same way we book our standing time slots for private lessons. Expect detailed instructions, some hands-on cues and individual corrections for proper alignment.
For your safety, we require you to take 3 private lessons before entering our group environment. Our introduction session package is the perfect way to begin.
What should you wear or bring with you for Pilates?
Wear anything you feel comfortable exercising in but nothing with zippers please. Yoga/Pilates pants & layering is a good option. Toe socks are required and are available at the studio for purchase. Please bring a water bottle for yourself.

Wondering how many classes per week might bring the most benefit? Many students who attend 1-3 classes per week feel this is the ideal amount of time to visit the studio. You will begin to feel the benefits more effectively by immersing yourself in the Pilates method. Is there such a thing as too much Pilates? Not really if you mix up our practice. Joseph Pilates recommended doing pilates every day.
Can I wear my jewelry to class?
